Welcome to the magical world of plying with dragons! This is a simple tool to help you make a standard plying bracelet, from which you can ply your single from both ends into a two-ply yarn. No more wasted singles left on bobbins, and fantastic for all your sample yarns and mini skeins!
The Dragons are hand painted and made of wood by Suzy in the Fiberygoodness workshop.
If you love colour, and surprises, you will enjoy the Dragon ‘Blind Box‘ – you won’t know which colour dragon will hatch until you open the package! Each dragon comes with its own Character Card displaying a wee themed colour palette to match your dragons shade, and prompts for spin styles and project ideas that work well with your dragons colour. Or make your own choices, your personal dragon will help you ply all your small quantities of any singles. Simply wrap the thread around the body and wings (instruction included) then pull the head pin out to release the dragon bracelet when ready to ply!
Each Blind Box Plying Dragon is hand painted by Suzy, with an added sparkle to finish. The inner body and head are super strong bamboo and the outer is Birch. All are sanded and clearcoat finished and are lovely to hold and use. Dragons measure 24cm (9.45″) long with a wingspan of 20cm (7.9″) All prices on the Fiberygoodness website are in US dollars. Bamboo Plying Dragon
Do you prefer all wood and less surprise? Then you will want to choose the beautiful 100% bamboo Plying Dragon. The hand drawn scales are lasered into the wood, then everything is sanded smooth and finished with a clear-coat to show the lovely grain. This Dragon also comes with instruction and ready to use.
